West Virginia Farm Bureau's Annual Meeting is a gathering of members from all counties to conduct the business of Farm Bureau, decide the direction our policy book will take for the upcoming legislative session, elect our leadership, and gather for great fellowship.
Summer Agriculture Institute is an annual two-day workshop and tour for teachers who want the opportunity to earn professional credits. Teachers take farm tours and participate in workshops where they are given teaching resources to take back to their classrooms so they can share accurate agriculture education with their students.
WVFB Day at the Legislature is an opportunity for our members to experience the legislative process first hand. WVFB members discuss policy that we, as an organization, deem timely and important.
The WVFB Taste of West Virginia Reception occurs on the evening of our Day at the Legislature. Members and elected officials join around the table to discuss important issues to farmers, landowners, and consumers while enjoying a delicious meal entirely made up of foods donated by West Virginia growers and producers.
Our Food Link is Farm Bureau's way of celebrating the bountiful and affordable food supply our farmers provide every day through community service. Each April, county Farm Bureaus work together to gather food and donations for the three Ronald McDonald House Charities in the state, located in Huntington, Charleston and Morgantown.
Each year at State Fair, West Virginia Farm Bureau hosts an educational booth where fair attendees can learn about WV commodities and the importance of agriculture in all of our lives.
