Summer Ag Institute for Educators

This annual two-day workshop is targeted to teachers who want the opportunity to earn graduate or professional credit from WVU and gain valuable information, teaching materials, lesson plans and activities about agriculture to take back to their classrooms. Teachers who attend Summer Ag Institute participate in a variety of workshops and are taken on several agriculture-related tours that allow them to see first-hand what goes into the production of food, fiber and fuel that America’s farmers provide to the world.

The Institute is sponsored by West Virginia Farm Bureau Foundation, Agriculture and Extension Education-WVU Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design and West Virginia University Extension Service.
